CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Cincinnati Public Schools adjusted football schedules for half a dozen games this week.
The games changed, according to CPS, include:
- Hughes vs. Western Hills - Thursday, 5 p.m. at Withrow
- Gamble Montessori vs. Bellevue - Friday, 5 p.m. at Western Hills
- Aiken vs. Woodward - Saturday, 10 a.m. at Stargel Stadium
- Walnut Hills vs. Loveland- Friday, 6 p.m. at Walnut Hills
- Clark Montessori vs. New Miami - Friday, 6 p.m. at Withrow
- Taft vs. Withrow - Saturday, 2 p.m. at Stargel Stadium
The adjustments are due to community violence and threats already made in the young school year, CPS explained.
“The District prioritizes the safety and well-being of its students and staff. Out of an abundance of caution, games will be moved to earlier start times or days.”
