Power restored at Kings Island; Animal caused outage, per official
WARREN COUNTY, Ohio (WXIX) - Power is back in full at Kings Island after an animal interfered with the power supply earlier Monday, according to Tony Clark, regional manager of public relations for Kings Island and Cedar Point.
“Early this morning prior to park opening, portions of the park lost power due to an animal interfering with a power supply line,” Clark explained. “The line has been repaired, and all attractions and locations are in the process of reopening (or have reopened).”
According to Kings Island, the power outage affected most of the park.
The amusement park said that select rides, including multiple roller coasters, had to be closed.
