Reds uniforms for Speedway Classic unveiled
CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The Cincinnati Reds will be rocking racing-inspired uniforms for the Speedway Classic at Bristol Motor Speedway.
On Monday, Major League Baseball unveiled the Nike uniforms and the New Era cap for the Reds.
The uniform resembles the Reds’ classic design, but the jersey numbers are inspired by racecar numbers.
Cincinnati’s cap for the Aug. 2 Speedway Classic has checkered racing flags across its visor.
The batters’ helmets also feature a unique design, inspired by NASCAR helmet designs.
Reds’ fans can buy the Speedway Classic jersey and cap at MLBShop.com, the Fanatics network of sites and the Reds Team Shop at Great American Ball Park.
