Kings Island announces ride closure

MASON, Ohio (WXIX) - Kings Island is marking the end of an era with the closure of a ride.

The Boo Blasters on Boo Hill is closing for good, Kings Island announced Monday on Facebook.

“Since 2010, the young and young-at-heart have created cherished memories working together to blast whimsical ghosts, ghouls and goblins back to the underworld on this classic indoor attraction,” Kings Island wrote.

Guests have until Sept. 1 to ride Boo Blasters on Boo Hill.
