Kings Island announces 2026 opening day

MASON, Ohio (WXIX) - Amusement park enthusiasts, mark your calendars because Kings Island has already announced its 2026 opening day.

Come April 18, Kings Island will be flooded with thousands of fans for its first day of the 2026 season.

The Tri-State attraction’s gates will open at 10 a.m. and close at 9 p.m., according to its online calendar.

If you’re a season passholder, you can attend Kings Island’s sneak peek Passholder Preview Day on April 17.

Season passes are available now, starting at $11 per month or $130 total.

As for the waterpark, Kings Island plans to open it to the public May 23 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
