Reds star Elly De La Cruz & UDF are launching a new ice cream flavor
CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Cincinnati Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz is teaming up with United Dairy Farmer’s with an exclusive new ice cream flavor.
Starting Monday, May 18, baseball fans can indulge in the new Dulce De La Cruz, a rich caramel ice cream base with notes of caramel sauce.
“I’m excited to partner with UDF to bring one of my favorite flavors to fans, and Dulce De La Cruz is all about sharing something I love with the city and the people who support me every day,” said De La Cruz. “I can’t wait for Reds fans to enjoy this flavor all season long.”
Later this summer, customers will be able to buy the new flavor by the pint at Kroger, Dorothy Lane Market and UDF retail stores.
But the menu doesn’t stop at just ice cream.
UDF is also coming out with the #44 Shake, blending the Dulce De La Cruz ice cream with toasted coconut and more caramel sauce.

There will also be a new Elly De La Cruz iced sugar cookie at UDF stores too.
People can find the specialty treats at any of the 170+ UDF locations in the Tri-State Area.
