Elly de la Cruz gets rehab assignment
The Reds star is working his way back from a hamstring injury
CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Reds star Elly de la Cruz now has his rehab assignment.
The Reds announced Friday that Cruz was placed on rehab assignment at AAA-Louisville.
The 24-year-old star was put on the Injured List on June 1 with a right hamstring injury.

“When I was running and then I was making the turn to get to first, I felt tightness in my hamstring,” the Reds star said about the injury.
While Cruz heads to Louisville, the Reds head to the Bronx. The Reds and New York Yankees begin a three-game set Friday at 7:05 p.m.
