CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Bengals head coach Zac Taylor says he is not planning on playing the starters in the next preseason game.

Joe Burrow and the Bengals first team will instead get their reps in during the joint practice session with the Chicago Bears.

The Bengals and Bears hit the practice field together on Thursday.

Coach Taylor said these joint practices are a great opportunity to simulate a game-like situation.

The Bengals and Bears play Saturday at 7 p.m.
