Small businesses and organizations thrive on partnerships to help them grow. ArtWorks works with partners across Cincinnati, Jill Dunne, Marketing and Public Relations, says that they work with nonprofits, community based organizations, individuals and corporations.
“We really have a wide variety of partners on all 300 of our murals, each one had a partner which made it possible,” said Dunne. “These partners are what allow us to create the mural. They help on the funding side and they have the inspiration usually to help us create the beautiful piece of art.”
Dunne says they also work with different experts and artists. They bring in artists from around the globe to bring beautiful designs to life.
“Last year we brought in a famous mural artist name Momo and we just completed a project with with Shepard Fairey, who is one of the best artists in the terms of street art in the country,” said Dunne. “He’s very famous, he’s done some amazing projects. So we do with different partners and have throughout our history.”
ArtWorks started in 1996. Dunne says they’ve grown and evolved since then with the help of different partners and experts.
“Each year we try to build on that relationship,” said Dunne. “We try to add different aspects to the partnership and we found that working with partners over a series of years can really help create a really beautiful agreement. We can create a variety of different murals and continue that relationship and strengthen it over the years and provide more to different communities.”
Dunne says they rely on the community for support. They take donations and host a variety of events for people to attend.
