Turner says that the key to business is the understanding that no one has the best answer.
“I would say that nobody knows everything. All the guidance and wisdom that I can get from people who’ve been successful in this industry, absolutely, I’ll take any guidance and wisdom that I can get,” Turner said.
That wisdom has helped him become one of the most in-demand detailers in the Cincinnati area. It’s been a wild ride, Turner says.
“I would say that my most rewarding journey as a business owner has been all of the hundreds and hundreds of people that I’ve been able to connect with from all walks of life, and all the different things that they can offer for both of my businesses, but the things that I can offer them as well, you learn so much about people and everything that they’re going through, and those personal connections is what makes a business a business,” Turner said.
But the biggest partnerships he’s created have come from customers.
“The biggest benefit that I have received as a small business is just the overwhelming amount of referrals that I’ve gotten,” Turner said. “So when we go to someone’s house, we take care of the vehicle for them. They’re so happy they’re going to call up their mother, their grandmother, their brother, their sister, it doesn’t matter, and then they refer me to their loved ones or friends. I mean, there’s no better feeling to know that I did a good enough job to get out there and work for somebody that they know.”
