FOX19 would like to congratulate Aaron Todahl, our February recipient of the Leaders in Learning Award, sponsored by Thomas More University!
Mr. Todahl is the Jazz Band Director at Lakota East and Lakota West High Schools. He also assists with Symphonic Winds, Pep Band, and Pit Orchestra at Lakota East.
Mr. Todahl said, “I love getting to spread my love for music and getting to work with these awesome kids, who are super fun and great human beings!”
He loves being able to teach them not only about music but also life and teach them how to advocate for themselves.
One of his students said, “Every day I come into the class, and I learn something new! Whether it’s about jazz, music history, or being a good human being. Every day I am becoming a better person because of Mr. Todhal.”
His dedication to his students and community is what makes him a true Leader in Learning!
