FOX19 would like to congratulate Jaden Treichel, our September recipient of the Leaders in Learning award sponsored by Thomas More University! Mr. Treichel is a special education teacher at Simon Kenton High School and is highly regarded by not only his students but peers as well. His colleague Ms. Collins, states “He is very calm with our students we have a structured teaching unit, and he brings the best out of our students and their abilities” His colleague Ms. Thomas talks about the passion he has for his students and helping them learn. She stated, “Mr. Treichel deals with each kid individually and is great with all of our kids!” Mr. Treichel’s favorite part about teaching is the people, both his students and his colleagues. He says there is no place like Kenton Simon, and he has the best kids! The dedication and support to his students and community is what makes him a true Leader in Learning!
