FOX19 would like to congratulate Jennifer McCran, our March recipient of the Leaders in Learning Award, sponsored by Thomas More University! Mrs. McCran is a third-grade teacher at Community Christian Academy in Independence, Kentucky, who truly loves her job. She says one of her favorite things about teaching is that every day is different, which keeps her excited and motivated. She also enjoys being able to teach and inspire the next generation of students. Her students love her because she is funny, kind, and always willing to help when someone needs it. She creates a positive classroom where everyone feels comfortable and supported. One student even said his favorite memory with her is having free days to relax and watch movies with the class.
