FOX19 would like to congratulate Teyah McEntush, our April recipient of the Leaders In Learning award sponsored by Thomas More University! Ms. McEntush is a 6th Grade Math teacher at Finneytown Elementary School and is highly regarded by not only her students but peers as well. Her principal, Ms. Baker, states “She is all about kids. She is here for the kids, she creates fun experiences, and they love her, and she loves them.” Her students praise her math strategies and how she makes learning fun. Her patience is apparent when teaching, with some recalling how she remains calm when they are struggling to understand complex problems. Ms. McEntush encourages parents to listen to their children and be open-minded when it comes to math. The dedication and support to her students and community is what makes her a true Leader in Learning!
