FOX19 would like to congratulate Rachel Kless, our May recipient of the Leaders in Learning award sponsored by Thomas More University! Ms. Kless is a Latin teacher at Mercy McAuley High School and is highly regarded by not only her students but peers as well. Her principal, Ms. Clements, states “I’m sure any of her students would have nominated her- she instills a love of the classics in them and encourages creativity, and all of her students just love her.” Her students talk about the passion she has for Latin and how she makes learning fun. One of her students stated, “Ms. Kless is always so supportive and fun, and I feel like I can always come to her as a teacher. She’s always there for me!” Ms. Kless credits her students for being so willing to learn and having kept her motivated for the past twenty years! The dedication and support to her students and community is what makes her a true Leader in Learning!
