Heavy Rain is Moving In Overnight and for the Morning Commute
Allow extra time Thursday morning and watch for localized flooding
CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Moderate to heavy rain is already moving across our northern counties and will continue through the overnight hours. Scattered storms are likely as well with gusty winds. Localized flooding will become a concern if rain persists in the same areas.
First Alert for a very wet morning commute as rain becomes more widespread from 5-9am. Rain totals may exceed 1″ in some areas. Drier air moves in Thursday afternoon and evening with temperatures in the low 80s.
Friday looks fabulous with lower humidity levels and partly cloudy skies. There is another scattered storm chance Saturday afternoon and evening, but it looks to be just spotty. Do not cancel any plans, just be aware that an isolated shower or storm will be possible. Sunday looks to be the drier and better of the two weekend days. Temperatures this weekend stay in the low 80s, with a reinforcing shot of comfortably cool air for a beautiful beginning to next week.
