Morning rain and storms
Expect slow travel
CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Moderate to heavy rain is moving across the Tri-State to start your Thursday.
Expect this to impact your morning commute, especially if storms with gusty winds over 40 mph develop.
Flooding and flash flooding is a concern with flood watches and warnings up in parts of the northern suburbs and southeastern Indiana.
Rain totals may exceed one inch in some areas.
We will dry out this afternoon into the evening.
Highs will reach 80 degrees as muggy air sticks around one more day.
Friday looks fabulous with lower humidity levels and partly sunny skies.
There is a chance for scattered storms Saturday afternoon and evening, but it looks to be just spotty.
Don’t cancel plans, just be aware that an isolated shower or storm is possible.
Sunday looks to be the drier and better of the two weekend days.
Temperatures this weekend will stay in the low 80s, with a reinforcing shot of comfortably cool air setting up a beautiful beginning to next week.
