Catherine Bodak

FOX19 NOW Meteorologist
Cincinnati
Catherine Bodak

Catherine is a proud Midwest native, born and raised in the picturesque Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Growing up in a small town on the shores of Lake Superior, Catherine’s graduating high school class had just seven students and the nearest traffic light was two hours away. The Yooper lifestyle helped cultivate a love for adventure, the outdoors and of course, the weather. When not in the weather center, Catherine enjoys traveling with her family, camping, hiking, and spending time in nature.

Catherine began her career at 9&10 News in Northern Michigan and followed that with 4 years at WNEM TV5 in Saginaw, Michigan. For over a decade, Catherine has called the Tri-State home, sharing it with her husband and their two children.

Catherine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology and a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts from Central Michigan University. She is one of about 600 active members of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) to hold the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) designation. With more than 10 years of experience forecasting for Cincinnati and the Tri-state, Catherine brings a wealth of expertise and passion to her role at FOX19. You can watch her from 4:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday.
